If this describes you, the RSPCA of NSW is looking for full-time, part-time, or casual Animal Attendants to join the organisation. In order to maintain a high standard of animal care, you must be driven, vivacious, dependable, and willing to take on a variety of Animal Attendant duties.
We are looking for part-time, full-time, and casual individuals, and the chosen applicant will need to work some weekends.

About the Role
Animal Attendant Jobs Opportunities in Australia
As an Animal Attendant Superstar, you will:
- Perform animal care tasks such as cleaning cages/enclosures; medicating; feeding; exercising; assessing animals
- Provide basic first aid to animals where required
- Ensure high level communication to managers and colleagues to ensure all information is provided to required parties
- Provide high level customer service to all stakeholders, including members of the public
Requirements
- Certificate II Animal Care or equivalent experience essential
- Previous animal handling skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work rotating rosters including weekends and public holidays
- The desire to work with people to improve animal welfare outcomes
- Initiative and ability to prioritise
- Good organisational skills
- Team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to conduct manual handling tasks
- Resilience – the ability to bounce back from occasional setback
