Description

We are now hiring for a dynamic teaching position that is committed to addressing the academic requirements of our students and maximizing their chances of success outside of the classroom. You will collaborate with other members of our multidisciplinary team to deliver a high-quality education in accordance with the standards established by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority. Your job will entail creating, organizing, and carrying out teaching and learning strategies that are appropriate for the enrolled pupils. Key responsibilities

Teacher Jobs in Australia

  • planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to all of the class’s pupils to promote learning;
  • teaching in accordance with the educational requirements, potential, and performance of each student and each group of pupils (using data gathered and/or observed);
  • examining best practices in both delivery and assessment/feedback to guarantee that the programs being delivered and student outcomes are continually improved;
  • utilizing trauma-informed approaches while dealing with children and adolescents;
  • using the appropriate curriculum and assessment materials to organize and present a cross-disciplinary course to a young, mixed-age audience;
  • adopting and pursuing the execution of the operational strategy for the school
  • evaluating, noting, documenting, and reporting on pupils’ growth, progress, academic achievement, and behaviour
  • keeping detailed records of teacher and student observations and changes for data collection and audit processes
  • providing or assisting in the creation of oral and written evaluations, summaries, and references for specific students or groups of students based on observations and data gathered
  • fostering the overall development and well-being of each student, group of pupils, or class that has been entrusted to them.

Requirements

Teacher Jobs in Australia

  • current full registration as a teacher in Queensland, or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration.
  • Delivering Nationally Accredited Vocational Certificates: TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Assessment and Training
  • Knowledge of Special Assistance Schools, which offer alternate learning environments for kids with high needs, students at risk, students with behavioural issues, or students whose requirements are best served by flexible learning structures
  • Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers is current.
  • There must be a nationwide police background check.
